Bulletin Announcements:

Volunteers needed:  Spring Valley Kiwanis is looking for volunteers to ring the bell for the Salvation Army Kettle at Sunshine Foods.  You can also sign up at  For more information call Steve at 507-346-9836 or Jay at 507-346-1751.

Tri-Parish Reconciliation:  will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at St. Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow @ 6:30 pm.

Poinsettias:  If you would like to donate a poinsettia for Christmas, please put $10 in an envelope with the name of the individuals. Label it “Poinsettia” and please put it in the collection box or give to Rita Bezdicek by Dec 16th.

Bell Ringer Needed:  There will be a time slot open for bell ringing at Sunshine Foods on Sunday, Dec. 23rd from 3-5 pm for children and adults who are interested. Contact Joe or Santi Drees if you have any questions.

•Christmas Carolers Wanted:  We will be Christmas caroling on Sunday Dec. 23rd.  Please meet at Spring Valley Senior Living at 6 pm if you can join us.  There will be other stops as well. Anyone is welcome to join the fun and spread the Christmas spirit. Sheet music is provided. We can do home requests as well for those in town. Contact Joe and Santi Drees if you are interested. 

Many Thanks to St. Ignatius Faith Formation classes, Mychelle, and all parishioners for collecting and donating over 600 pounds of food to our SV Area Food Shelf.  Our shelves are full again, thanks to you.  God's blessings on all of you!

The Annual Spring Valley Community Christmas Dinner:  The Annual Spring Valley Community Christmas Dinner will be held at Faith United Methodist Church, 617 Maple Lane in Spring Valley on Tuesday December 25th at noon.  The dinner is for those who may be alone, have special circumstances, or would simply like to be with others for a meal on Christmas Day.  Area churches work together by donating food and workers.  Please sign-up in the church entry to help.  There are also sign-up sheets if you will need a ride to the dinner or if you need a meal delivered to your home.
