    2024 Catholic Ministries Appeal. Thanks to you, twenty-four men are currently discerning a call to the priesthood. More than 4,000 children in our Catholic schools are being formed in lives of faith and virtue. Additionally, hundreds of students on our college campuses receive formation as disciples of Christ, with the help of Newman Centers and FOCUS missionaries. Please give generously to this year’s Appeal.   If you haven’t already contributed, please return your CMA pledge card or give online at www.catholicfsmn.org.

    The Austin 4th Degree Knights of Columbus will be doing a raffle this year to support MCCL. Only 600 tickets will be sold. For more information contact Bob Morgan at 507-440-9861.

    Bluff Country Singers Spring Concert will be at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Spring Valley, Sunday, April 21, 2 - 7 PM. Free Will Offering.

    Austin Area Council of Catholic Women Quarterly meeting will be held on Tues., April 23 at St. Columbanus Church in Blooming Prairie. The meeting will begin with Mass at 6 PM. The speaker will be Father William Becker presenting “The Eucharist: A Living Tradition.” All members are welcome.

    Join Father Marreddy on a St. James Coffee House pilgrimage to Lourdes and Fatima, Sept. 30 – Oct. 9, 2024, organized by Ed-Ventures. There are brochures at the back of church or visit ed-ventures.com for more information.

    Powerful Tools for Caregivers (PTC) is an educational program to help caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a loved one with a chronic illness. Held Wednesdays, March 20 – April 24, 10-11:30 AM, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church 805 S Broadway Ave, Spring Valley. Register by March 13.     Catholic Charites of Southern Minnesota offers respectful, compassionate, and professional Mental Health Clinical Counseling services to help individuals, couples and families deal with a variety of concerns. We accept most insurances or offer a sliding fee. For more information call 507-287-2047.

    Trauma Reboot, is a 12-week, faith based, peer-led course empowering everyday people to overcome trauma and embrace a brighter future. To learn more or register, please contact Marilyn Baker at mkbak7@gmail.com as soon as possible. Dates and location have changed.

    Check Out the Eucharistic Revival Tab. We uploaded the keynote addresses from the Eucharistic Congress held in Mankato in June.  There are five total; two are in Spanish.

    Thank You to All 3 Parishes for donating to the Box of Joy Program again this year. A total of 823 boxes was collected. The children of Haiti, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Grenada, and the Caribbean Islands, El Salvador and Malawi will be receiving your generous gifts this Christmas.

    The Mower County Memory Cafe is a place for people with mild to moderate memory loss and their care partners to come and socialize freely and safely. The Mower County Memory Cafe creates a sense of love & warmth, a familiar routine & simplicity for individuals. It is free of charge, but donations are welcome. Refreshments are provided and an activity is planned for each gathering. We meet every 1st Thursday of the month from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM in the Mower County Senior Center Coffee Shop (400 3rd Ave NE, Austin).

    Tri-Parish Masses: Please give ALL mass stipends directly to Father Marreddy along with the name(s) for whom the Mass is intended to be offered. Mass intentions are said during the week, as well as on weekends. Please make checks payable to St. Ignatius. Stipend requests are $5 per mass.
