•“Tried and True” Cookbook Update: Good News about the St. Finbarr “Tried and True Cookbook”! We are extending the deadline to April 20th to turn in your recipes. To date we have received over 335 recipes. We have decided to add a section labeled “Food for a Crowd”, so if you have recipes for serving large groups please send them to Jenny Weiss or Jenny Gehling this week. We could also use the following favorites: pies, Tom and Jerry Batter. If you have a favorite in any of these send them in.
•Easter Flowers: If you would like to donate flowers for the altars, please contact Kitty Kerrins @ 507-440-6616. Thank you.
•Next Parish Council Meeting: will be on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30 pm in the church hall.
•Save the Date: The annual St. Finbarr Garage Sale will be on April 25th – 27th. Please sign up on the sign up sheets attached to the bulletin board in the narthex if you can help out.
•Scholarship Applications: St. Finbarr’s Education Endowment Fund Scholarship applications are available in the Narthex and are being accepted until May 4, 2019. High school seniors who meet the criteria are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarships are made possible because of donations by generous parishioners, as well as money raised at events for the St. Finbarr’s Education Endowment Fund.
•Faith Formation Teachers Needed: We are already thinking about next year’s Faith Formation program – we are going to be in desperate need of teachers. Please consider becoming a faith formation teacher, especially if you have children attending Faith Formation. Contact Becky Oehlke if you have questions or want to teach.
